Cairns Bullion is proud to present the 2023 1oz Australian Wombat Silver Coin.

One of the world’s largest burrowing animals, the wombat is perfectly built for tunnelling with powerful limbs and claws. The female even features a backwards opening pouch designed to avoid smothering its joey while digging underground.

Coin Highlights:

  • Contains 1oz 999+  Fine Silver
  • Packaged in presentation sleeve/card
  • Limited mintage of 2,500
  • The coin is presented on an illustrated card with a fold-out stand for upright display.

Reverse: portrays a cute, coloured image of a wombat dozing amid flowering billy buttons with a blue fairywren perched on its back. As well as the inscription ‘WOMBAT’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the reverse includes the coin’s weight, purity and 2023 year-date.

Obverse: portrays the official ‘Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse’, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’.
